Attleborough Road Traffic Collision Appeal

Officers from the Thetford and Attleborough Safer Neighbourhood
Team (SNT) are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision
which took place at the end of last week in Attleborough.

At approximately 5am on Thursday 31 March 2011, a male cyclist
was travelling Norwich bound on the A11 when, just after the
roundabout next to The Stag (Breckland Lodge), he was knocked from
his bicycle. The vehicle failed to stop at the scene.

The rider, a local man in his late 40s, received heavy
concussion and severe bruising as a result of the collision and was
taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment. His bike was also badly damaged.

There is no description of the vehicle available.
