Norfolk Constabulary: Police raid Sheringham property

Two men have been arrested during a police raid in Sheringham on
Tuesday 26 April.

Officers from Sheringham Safer Neighbourhood Team, along with
response and dog handler colleagues, carried out the warrant this
morning under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a property in Grice
Close.

There officers seized drugs believed to be cannabis.

Two men
aged in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of possession with
intent to supply controlled drugs.

They have both been bailed
pending further police enquiries.

Sgt Andy Smith said: “We will act on information we receive
about drugs and drug dealing and if anyone suspects a property is
being used for this purpose, I would encourage them to contact us
in confidence or pass information anonymously via the Crimestoppers
charity.”
