Norfolk Constabulary: Stalham hit-and-run appeal

Road policing officers are appealing for witnesses to a
hit-and-run near Stalham which left a man with serious
injuries.

At approximately 10:10pm on Sunday 3 April, a 21-year-old man
was walking along the A1151 from the Hoveton area towards Stalham
when a vehicle struck him and then failed to stop at the scene.

The victim, from the North Walsham area, received leg, hip
and head injuries as a result of the collision.

Investigating officer PC Shaun Turner, of Acle Road Policing,
said: “I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision
or has information regarding a vehicle with unexplained frontal
damage which appears to have happened overnight.”

PC Turner would also like to hear from anyone who has
information regarding the behaviour of the pedestrian, who is
believed to have been a train passenger prior to the incident.
