Burglary warning to students

Students living in Norwich are being urged to tighten security
following a burglary at the UEA.

The incident happened at Hawthorne House between 7pm and 8pm on
Friday 8 November when suspect(s) entered a room after climbing
through an open window before stealing a Toshiba laptop, Samsung
Galaxy Ace and iPod.

Police are urging warning students to be on their guard and make
sure that windows and doors are locked and secure when going out
and to:

  • Lock your doors and windows
  • Know who is coming in and out of your residence
  • Don t show off your goods store expensive items in a drawer or
    cupboard and not in front of the window
