Norfolk police investigate homicide
NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Norfolk police have identified the victim of the city’s 27th homicide this year. A body was found in a vacant lot in the 400 block of Park Avenue Saturday morning. Officers responded to the area around 6:19 a.m.
and discovered a deceased man, according to a news release from Norfolk police. Police identified the victim as 35-year-old Keelan Erik Williams of Norfolk. Investigators have not yet released the cause of death or information about the circumstances surrounding Williams’ death, but said the incident is being investigated as a homicide.
