Police pursue suspect vehicle into Norfolk
CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Police are looking for a suspect after a vehicle pursuit stretched from Chesapeake to Norfolk Monday night. Kelly O’Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department said the pursuit began around 9:30 p.m. in the South Norfolk area of Chesapeake at Indian River Road and Wingfield Avenue.

O’Sullivan said the passenger was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.
Officer Ravi Sheth with the Chesapeake Police Department said the pursuit began as a traffic stop for defective equipment.
