Six year sentence for robber

Jenzen Schokker has been sentenced to six years in prison.

A man who committed a violent robbery by forcing his way into a
South Lynn home has started a six-year term behind bars.

Jenzen Schokker, 41, of no fixed abode appeared before Norwich
Crown Court yesterday and pleaded guilty to robbery.

On 2 October 2013 Schokker assaulted his male victim as he was
entering his property in South Lynn.

Schokker then forced entry
into the home, stealing 3700 in cash and a mobile phone.

The male victim, who was in his 60s, was left bleeding and with
facial injuries.

Schokker was arrested and charged by police on the day of the
robbery.

He was jailed for six years and ordered to pay 120 victim
surcharge.

Detective Sergeant Sally Money from King s Lynn CID, commented:
The victim of this nasty attack was left very shaken and in a
state of shock.

Schokker has a history of offending to fund a drug habit, and
it is pleasing to see him behind bars where he belongs.
