Woman assaulted in Norwich

Police are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted
in Norwich.

The woman in her 50s was walking near the shops at the junction
of Brightwell Road and Catton Grove Road at around 7.30pm on
Saturday 19 October 2013 when she was approached by a large group
of teenagers.

Some of them were on bicycles and they shouted abuse
at her.

The youths then assaulted the woman before running off, she
suffered bruising.

She was able to flag down a white car with two
males inside who took her to her home.

Officers want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this
assault and are keen to trace the two males in the car as they may
also have important information.
