Norfolk Constabulary: Anonymous malicious letters

3 June 2014

Police in Holt have received reports of people receiving
malicious letters.

Approximately 15 letters have been received both in Holt and the
surrounding villages at different households and premises over the
past 12 months. They usually take the form of an anonymous hand
written letter sent directly to the address, often containing
malicious content towards the addressed person.

PC Anna Rooke commented: “These letters have been sent to a
range of different addresses over the past year. We have slowly
continued to receive reports of them arriving either by people
bringing them into the station or via our community police
surgeries in the area.

We are asking anyone who may have received
something like this in Holt or the surrounding villages to come
forward.

Anyone who may have received a letter such as this or who may
have further information should contact PCSO Keith Clarke at Holt
Police Station on 101 or alternatively call
Crimestopper anonymously on 0800 555 111.
