Norfolk Constabulary: Industrial site death not suspicious

The death of a man after an industrial
incident in Fincham will not be treated as suspicious, police have
confirmed.

Officers were called to a business premises in
Swaffham Road at 11.05am today to reports that a man had fallen
into a grain silo.

Sadly the man was pronounced dead at the
scene.

Following investigations by Kings Lynn CID
officers and representatives from the Health and Safety Executive,
the man s death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is
being prepared for the coroner, which will be handed over in due
course.

No further information about the deceased will
be released prior to the opening of the inquest.

Officers are currently at the scene of an industrial incident at
a business premises in Swaffham Road, Fincham.

Police were called to the scene at 11.05 today following reports
a male had fallen into a grain silo.

All emergency services
including the fire, ambulance and air ambulance were in
attendance.

Sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Constabulary and Health and Safety Executive have
launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the
incident and a seal is currently in place at the premises.

Enquiries continue.
