Norfolk Constabulary: Police investigate cemetery robbery

Three men arrested for robbery in a Great
Yarmouth cemetery have been charged and remanded in custody.

Sam Burgess, 22 years-old of Middlegate, Great
Yarmouth, Craig Postle, 19 years-old of King Street, Great Yarmouth
and Dylan Edwards, 20 years-old of no fixed abode were all charged
with three counts of robbery.

The charges relate to offences which took
place in the evening of Thursday 10 July in the cemetery next to
Priory Plain in Great Yarmouth.

All three men appeared before Norwich
Magistrates Court this morning (Saturday 12 July) where they were
remanded in custody.

Officers from Great Yarmouth CID are currently investigating the
circumstances surrounding a robbery which took place yesterday
evening in the cemetery next to Priory Plain in Great Yarmouth.

The area remains sealed off while enquiries continue.

Three men, in their late teens/early 20s and from the local
area, have been arrested in connection with the incident and are
currently in Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre awaiting
questioning.
