Norfolk Constabulary: Robbery; High Street, Holt

Update (12 August): Men arrested

CID Officers from Norfolk yesterday (Wednesday 11 August 2010)
executed a number of search warrants in the Kent area and four men
were arrested.

Three of the men, aged 58, 27 and 21 were brought to Norfolk for
questioning. A fourth man was interviewed in the Kent
area.

All four have since been released on police bail until the end
of September whilst forensic and witness enquiries continue.

Update (5 August)

Norfolk Constabulary officers are continuing to investigate an
armed robbery which took place in Holt earlier this week.

The incident happened shortly before 2pm on Tuesday, 3 August,
at Webb’s County Jewellers in High Street.

Three male suspects entered the premises carrying weapons which
have since been recovered.

The suspects then made off in a vehicle believed to have been a
light coloured Audi. The vehicle was later discovered burnt out
close to Hempstead Hall.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have spotted the
vehicle before or after the incident.

They would also like to hear
from anyone who believes they may have seen any other suspicious
vehicles in the area of Hempstead Hall.

The offenders are believed to have fled with a number of items
of jewellery.

This investigation is still in its early stages and further
enquiries are being made to establish the exact circumstances
surrounding this incident.

Officers are however following up
enquiries in the London area.

The male who received medical treatment was not taken to
hospital.

information in relation to the suspects is asked to contact Great

Robbery; High Street Holt (3 August)

Officers from Holt are currently investigating an armed robbery
at the High Street this afternoon.

The incident happened shortly before 2pm at a local
jewellers.

Three male suspects entered the premises carrying weapons but no
firearms were involved in this incident.

The suspects then made off in a vehicle.

It is not yet clear
what if anything has been taken from the premises.

This investigation is still in its early stages and further
enquiries are being made to establish the exact circumstances
surrounding this incident.

One male has received medical treatment.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any
information in relation to the suspects is asked to contact Norfolk
