Pedestrian injured in collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was
seriously injured following a collision with a car in Norwich
yesterday.

It happened on Barrack Street near to the roundabout just before
3pm.

A female pedestrian, aged in her 40 s, was in collision with a
silver Renault Clio.

She was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich
Hospital where she is currently being treated for fractures to her
neck, pelvis and arms.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or saw the
pedestrian or the manner of driving of the vehicle prior to the
incident is urged to contact PC Colin Savage at the Serious
Collision Investigation Team on 101.
