Boro face Norwich City in the final of the Championship play-offs – having

Boro strolled to a 4-0 win over promotion rivals Norwich2 in front of a delighted Riverside crowd back in November.

Patrick Bamford opened the scoring after just five minutes with a brave header.

The visitors enjoyed a dominant spell after Bamford’s opener before Boro took a strong grip on the game3 when Grant Leadbitter converted from the spot after George Friend was fouled.

Leadbitter added to his account with the goal of the night with 20 minutes left when he sent a measured header over the onrushing keeper John Ruddy.

Flying Dutchman Yanic Wildschut then put the icing on the cake with a flicked finish as the clock ran down.

In the game at Carrow Road, Boro came away with a memorable away victory.

The victory prompted wild celebrations (you can view them HERE4) as it put Boro back on top.

Norwich were unbeaten in eight games before Boro pulled off a superb Friday night away display to pick up all three points at Carrow Road.56

Alexander Tettey’s own goal was enough for Boro last month but only thanks to a resilient hard-fought defensive display7 to keep the Canaries out.
