Paignton man admits making indecent images of children
A PAIGNTON man could be jailed after he admitted having 135 indecent images and movies of children.
Michael Savage, 46, of Totnes Road, pleaded guilty to 11 counts of possessing indecent photographs of children when he appeared at Exeter Crown Court on Friday.
The court was told that the offences took place between January 9, 2009, and November 27, 2014 and that police had found 135 indecent images and 14 DVDs of children.
Mitigating, Paul Dentith said: There was a search at his home address.
Three computers were taken and they all contained a small number of images, while some DVDs were found as well.
Judge Francis Gilbert QC ordered a pre-sentence report to be prepared and adjourned sentence until September 25, but warned Savage that all options, including custody, were available.
Savage was granted conditional bail until then.
