Black Keys Patrick Carney Says Jack White Tried To Fight Him …
Jack White s longstanding feud with The Black Keys exploded in a NYC bar Sunday night at least according to drummer Patrick Carney, who claims White tried to throw down.
Carney described the incident, saying A 40 year old bully tried to fight the 35 year old nerd.
White had a different take telling EW, Nobody tried to fight you, Patrick. Nobody touched you or bullied you. You were asked a question you couldn t answer so you walked away.
White and the Keys have been enemies for years, which became public in 2013 when White called lead singer Dan Auerbach an a**hole in emails.
As for Sunday night, White was pissed Carney tweeted about their run-in Quit whining to the Internet and speak face to face like a human being.
End of story.
Beef. It s not just for rappers.

The feud between Jack White and the Black Keys has been rekindled.
According to Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney, White tried to fight him in a bar in New York City on Sunday night. Carney tweeted about the confrontation on Monday morning, alleging that White came to a bar he often visits and tried to fight me.
A 40-year-old bully tried to fight the 35-year-old nerd, he tweeted, calling White, Billy Corgan s dumb-ass Zero t-shirt in human form.
White, however, is denying the claims.
Nobody tried to fight you, Patrick, the former White Stripes frontman told Entertainment Weekly in a statement.
Nobody touched you or bullied you. You were asked a question you couldn t answer so you walked away. So quit whining to the Internet and speak face to face like a human being.
End of story.
Carney responded to White s statement, calling him a bully a hole.
I got into music because of people like him, Carney told EW in a statement. The bully a holes who made me feel like nothing. Music was a collaborative and non competitive thing.
So, to get macho bulls from within the musical community makes me angry and sad.
He later tweeted all good after talking to White for an hour. Talked to jack for an hour he s cool. All good.
Carney and fellow Black Keys bandmate Dan Auerbach have been quarreling with White for two years now after White slammed teh band in a series of leaked emails between White and his ex-wife Karen Elson.
He later called the band copycats in a 2014 Rolling Stone cover story before apologizing for the remarks.
Here is Carney s string of tweets:
He is why I play music. The bully assholes who made me feel like nothing. Music was a private non competitive thing.

What did we just see? A very, very creepy mashup video featuring the famous children s show, Teletubbies , has gone viral and it hands down could pass as a scene out of a horror movie. Click to watch the video for yourself!
A man by the name of Christopher Brown has ruined Teletubbies forever.
Okay, maybe we re exaggerating a little, but his lastest mashup video will be the reason we have nightmares for the next week. He decided to take an already eerie song called Atmosphere by the band Joy Division and set it with a four minute clip of the Teletubbies show. The outcome?
Teletubbies : Creepy Black & White Music Video Will Haunt You
This Teletubbies music video is NOT for kids.
It all started when a horrifying grainy picture of the Teletubbies was posted on the popular site, 9GAG, and then quickly spread to Twitter. In the snap, the four brightly colored, lovable creatures were turned into a haunting black-and-white photo.
After commenters started comparing the picture to the band Joy Division s song, Atmosphere , Chris a Boston-based musician took the idea and ran with it. He should have kept running to be honest.
He uploaded an old episode of Teletubies and mashed it up with the rock song.
What he thought was pure magic, others have found to be a trippy, weird and absolutely horrifying video.
In the creepy video, we see Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po playing on hills in slow motion, as the song Atmosphere begins to play in the background. The remaining minutes are just as freaky, but for some reason you can t help but continue to watch.
Fans Freak Out Over Video
You hear that? That s the sound of fond childhood memories of watching the Teletubbies being ripped apart and destroyed.
Users on Twitter just couldn t handle the mashup.
@Cheezburger: Teletubbies in black and white are demons that will haunt your dreams. Teletubbies in color scare the piss out of me now.

Cosmopolitan is coming under heat for an online beauty feature called 21 Beauty Trends That Need to Die in 2015, in which nearly a fifth of the R.I.P.
column features women of color.
Conversely, every woman featured in the Hello Gorgeous column seems to be white, except for Nicole Richie, who is biracial. Readers took to Twitter to decry the magazine for the photo story s questionable subtext, with criticism that included Rare to see women of colour in a mainstream magazine. And when you do it s to tell us we re ugly, and Coincidence that all the wrong looks are on black woman/WOC?
After the backlash, an editor s note (or pseudo-apology, really) was posted to the article today: This article focuses on beauty trends with images that represent those trends.
Some images have been taken out of context, and we apologize for any offense. Celebrating all women is our mission, and we will continue to work hard to do that.

The controversy echoes a 2007 firestorm that Glamour faced after an editor, presenting corporate fashion dos and don ts at a law firm, identified an afro and dreadlocks as don ts.
Cosmo s story, which was originally posted on Jan.
5, has garnered over 90,000 shares and was resurfaced this week on the website.
The lack of diversity in print magazines is not a novel point of contention in the industry: A 2014 report on The Fashion Spot noted, per their own research, that white models appear on covers five times more frequently than women of color.
Model Joan Smalls, singer Ciara and actress Naya Rivera were among celebrities included the article s R.I.P. column.
Here s to hoping that more features in magazines will portray a more inclusive portrait of beauty, and not just the good vs. bad, light vs. dark trope that mainstream writers so easily fall into.

PBS and the BBC s docu showcase series Arena are partnering on American Epic, a three-part series chronicling the first recordings of American roots music in the 1920s.
Robert Redford, T Bone Burnett and the White Stripes Jack White are exec producing the series.
The docu-series will be followed by a feature-length film, The American Epic Sessions, which will include performances by contemporary musicians as they attempt to record music using techniques of the 1920s and 30s including recording directly to wax with a record lathe. Performers set for the sessions include White, Alabama Shakes, the Avett Brothers, Beck, Merle Haggard, Elton John, Los Lobos, Taj Mahal, Steve Martin & Edie Brickell, Nas, Willie Nelson, Raphael Saadiq and others.
This is America s greatest untold story, Redford said in a statement. It s an account of the cultural revolution that ultimately united a nation.
The series will be directed by Bernard MacMahon, with producers and writers Allison McGourty and Duke Erikson.
These musicians we profile are the real American heroes, Burnett said in a statement.
They set out from the darkness with nothing but a guitar on their backs, put out their thumbs and conquered the world.
American Epic will eventually be available on DVD and Blu-ray from PBS Distribution. A companion album and box sets will also be released by Sony Music s Legacy, Columbia Records and White s Third Man Records.

The Great Dress Debate of 2015 appears to have been settled.
It all started last night when a Tumblr used share the picture of a dress that he said had prompted a major disagreement between him and his friends.
Some saw it as white and gold. Others had no doubt the dress was blue and black.
The Internet proceeded to explode over the topic, with celebrities choosing sides and relationships being placed in danger depending on which team husband and wife found themselves on.
But Laura Coleman is here to set the record straight.
See, the dress actually exists (d uh, we know) and it was designed by Roman Originals.
On that company s website, the frock is offered in Blue and Black, White and Black, Red and Black and Pink and Black.
Gold is nary to be found as an option!
Okay so I was the first to wear this dress and just to confirm it s definitely black and blue! #thedress, Coleman wrote on Instagram in response to the controversy, including with it multiple photos of herself in the gown.
But does the dress above look the same to you as the dress below?
Is your head starting to spin faster than the llamas who were on the loose in Arizona yesterday from all this back and forth?

It s been called the holy grail of Elvis Presley music the very first song recorded by the man who would be the King and it will be available in all its vinyl glory on Record Store Day this Saturday.
For this rare treat, you can thank Jack White, the rocker who also happens to be a celebrated champion of vinyl records. The 39-year-old turned out to be the anonymous bidder who paid $300,000 for the one-of-a-kind recording of My Happiness at an auction this January at Graceland, Presley s Memphis home.
The ballad was recorded on an acetate disc on July 18, 1953, by Presley, then 18, at Memphis Recording Service, the home of Sun Records.
White (who played Presley in the 2007 comedy Walk Hard) recently turned up at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum to have its ace music archivist, Alan Stoker, carefully make a digital copy of the fragile disc. Stoker has his own Presley connection as the son of Gordon Stoker, one-fourth of the legendary Jordanaires, a quartet that backed Elvis on dozens of his hits.
A limited-edition vinyl facsimile of the acetate will go on sale Saturday at independent record stores around the country, including White s Third Man Records shop in Nashville.
The 10-in. record also features Presley s second recording, another ballad called That s When Your Heartaches Begin, on its B-side.
Suggested retail price is $20, which is $16 more than Presley paid to cut the songs. They reportedly were intended as a birthday gift for his mother, but according to Memphis newspaper The Commercial Appeal, researchers suspect Presley also was hoping to impress Sun Records producer Sam Phillips, who would later sign Presley to the label.
The Presley family didn t own a record player at the time, so Elvis left the acetate at the Memphis home of Ed Leek, a high school classmate, who kept it until his death in 2010.
A Leek relative put the record up for auction.

Betty White better be careful!
The Golden Girls actress stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday, and as soon as she took her seat, the late-night host noticed she had a shiner. What s going on with your eye? Jimmy Kimmel asked.
The 93-year-old actress replied, Oh, well, the makeup lady had a little problem with me and she hit me.
It was so unexpected! I thought she had a powder puff. She had her fist!
White was joking, of course, but Kimmel still wanted to make amends.
I apologize. That is not how we expect our staff to behave with a guest. White agreed, saying, No, I don t think so!
So, why how did White really get a black eye? I slipped and fell in the kitchen, of all things, the Hot in Cleveland actress explained. I never go in the kitchen because it s dangerous!
NEWS: Betty White gets a birthday flash mob for her 93rd birthday
When White appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2011, she drove herself to set. She sometimes gets behind the wheel, but not as much. I still drive, but people spoil me rotten.
I get driven. That being said, White added, I love to drive! Oh!
I have a house up in Carmel and I love that drive. I could drive forever. I just love it.
Kimmel asked, Do you remember how old you were when you got your license?
Without missing a beat, White said, I think I was 4. No, no, no. That was something else!
That s when I lost my virginity!
In reality, she got her driver s license at age 16.
What was it like driving in 1938? Kimmel asked. The Proposal actress replied, Lovely!
Oh, I was so thrilled, of course. I still love to drive. I love to drive!
But when you first get driving, it s such a thrill.
It s the second best feeling there is, you know?
White didn t get the innuendo at first, but after she did, she told him, Oh yes!
