Barking fight: Youths filmed brawling in street outside east London …

Footage has emerged of the moment brawling youths are confronted by police during violence outside an east London McDonald s.

The video, obtained by the Barking and Dagenham Post1, shows police rushing in to break up the fight which police described as the area s biggest outbreak of violence since the 2011 riots.

Shocked diners can be seen watching on from inside the Barking town centre fast food outlet while a mother calmly walks past, pushing a pram.

Violence first broke out at 3.25pm on Tuesday in Sandringham Road, police say, leading to two arrests.

Just two hours later, officers were called to break up a second brawl in nearby St Paul s Road, where they arrested another 14 people.

In both incidents, police seized a haul of weapons including knives, baseball bats and a spiked wooden pole.

Seven people are believed to have been charged in connection with the fights so far.
