His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander received today at the Royal Palace the delegation of the Committee on European Affairs of the National Assembly of the Republic of France, led by the Chairman of the Committee, Mrs. Danielle Auroi.
Welcoming the distinguished guests Crown Prince Alexander said that their visit was a significant contribution to the development of friendly relations between the two countries, and that he was convinced that the representatives of the state authorities with whom the delegation met during this visit were good hosts. The Crown Prince reminded the guests about the great friendship that binds the French nation with our people but also about the very close and cordial relations that his great-grandfather King Peter I and his grandfather King Alexander I established with the French Republic, adding that the French respect for the Royal Family of Serbia was not diminished after the assassination of King Alexander I in Marseilles and all along to the present day.
