Happy retirement nope instead he s gone to fly a plane :/
PC 887 Munro joined Avon and Somerset in August 1989 as a frontline/PSU officer before transferring to Norfolk in 1994 where he furthered his career by qualifying as a firearms officer and by his own admissions being a general nuisance.
He then spent 14 years in Norfolk s control room, some of this was part time whilst he qualified as a pilot.
In January 2014 he was booted out of control room where he joined Team 3 response at Great Yarmouth where he fitted in as a valued member of the team.
Earning himself several nicknames due to his great humour, our favourites being Manuel from Fawlty Towers and Captain Callback .
We are concerned that he is leaving the force to fly planes after he successfully introduced his patrol car to kerbs after returning to front line duties but want to wish him all the best in his new career!
