Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine hosted last night the Northwood Preparatory School Choir from the United Kingdom, who performed at White Palace charity concert in aid of the children with disabilities. The choir, composed of 20 students age from 7 to 13 and 10 Northwood Preparatory School professors, thrilled the audience by their performance. Their Royal Highnesses were joined by Dr Elaine Laycock medical advisor of Lifeline United Kingdom, Dr Julia Palmer and Ms Kim Samuels.

Northwood Preparatory School has been kindly supporting the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine for the past five years. The funds donated by the School were used to help build and equip two village kindergartens in Toponica and Matejevac near Nis. These were the first village kindergartens in Serbia and today they take care of more than 100 children.

In her opening speech, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine said: I am very glad that our home, the White Palace, is once again a meeting place on the occasion of an exceptional cultural and humanitarian event, in which children are helping children. I hope that we will continue to gather for such noble causes and help all those in need, especially children . The concert was also performed by Nadja Dornik, a talented young girl who began playing the piano when she was four, the harp when she was eight, and performed in one of the most famous concert halls in the world New York s Carnegie Hall when she was not yet fourteen years old.

The Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine helped this extraordinary girl and sent her to the international competition for the piano and harp in Paris, which took place in October 2014.

In addition, the performers at the concert were also the children s choir Magic and the Cultural Artistic Society Gradimir from Belgrade.
