Fakenham Art Biennial 2013, taking place from 11 July to 21 July 2013 in Fakenham
Parish Church, has received over 200 entries from 70 artists all over Norfolk. Of the
submissions, 82 works have now received final selection for hanging in the exhibition.
The selected pieces represent the work of 50 artists.

Organised by local artists Keith and Debbie Osborn, together with Fakenham Parish
Church, the exhibition will present contemporary approaches to art by Norfolk based
artists with work having been selected in a wide range of media including ceramics,
collage, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and textiles. Selection
was by open submission and subject matter was not restricted.

Keith Osborn, who participated in the selection panel alongside his wife Debbie, artists
David and B Bryn and Helen Vinsen, Director of MOA Marketing Events and Artist Support,
and Gallery Facilitator for Fabulous Frames, Norwich, said: The quality and range of the
work submitted has been excellent and it was a challenging task for the appointed
selection panel to make the final choice of work to hang but I am sure the selection will
make for a very exciting exhibition .

Helen Vinsen added: The vibrancy and variety of the work we viewed was breathtaking.
I am very much looking forward to seeing the selected work hung.

This really will be an
event worth coming to .

The exhibition will be open from 10am to 4pm every day from Thursday 11 July until
Sunday 21 July 2013 (12 noon to 4pm on Sundays).

A special service for artists and the arts
will be held at the Church on Sunday 14 July at 10.30am and the exhibition will open late
on Thursday 18 July from 6pm to 8pm.
