Police are appealing for information after a car was targeted in Belton
Police are investigating after corrosive liquid was poured over a car in Belton causing 500 worth of damage.
The black Volkswagon Golf was targeted between 9pm on November 8 and 10.30am the following day while it was parked outside a home in Paddock Close. Extensive damage was caused to the back near side window, roof, side panel and paintwork on the door. Officers are linking the incident to a similar attack in Heather Gardens in Belton, which happened on the same dates, between 5pm on the Saturday and 11.45am on the Sunday.
Witnesses, or anyone with information, is urged to call PC Steve Hughes on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
