Two men released on bail after day poaching incident near Downham Market

Two men have been arrested for day poaching in west Norfolk after police received reports of hare coursing.

A police spokesman said they seized four dogs and a vehicle yesterday to the east of Southery, near Downham Market.
The men, one in his 40s from Cambridge and another in his 20s from Romford in Essex, were arrested under the Game Act 1831 and are both on bail until April 20. Police were called to the incident at 2.37pm and an extensive search was carried out with the help of the National Police Air Service (NPAS) and dog units. The men were arrested just after 5pm yesterday evening.
