The 25 trailblazing Lincoln Barons may have gone, but the city s businesses and groups have created a brand new trail by designing their own mini-versions of the statues.
Shops, bars, restaurants, estate agents, and other businesses around Lincoln will be displaying their own individually painted Mini Barons up to Christmas Eve.
The Lincoln Barons Charter Christmas Festival will round off the city s celebrations of the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta.
The Mini Barons cost 9.95 each and are available to buy from the Lincoln Visitor Information Centre on Castle Hill.
The Lincolnite decided to have a go at the Mini Baron challenge, with our Associate Editor Emily Norton painting an iconic view of Lincoln s skyline.
