Members of Wroxham Bure Valley Rotary Club set off from Wroxham to Aylsham in a 1961 tractor to help raise money for the Wheelie Good Idea initiative.

The aim is that in the Olympic year each rotary club receives a torch and passes it on to the next using a variety of transport to raise money for the charity Wheelpower, which provides sports wheelchairs and other equipment to disabled athletes. Simon Gorton, owner and partner Sloley Hall, near Worstead, is a member of the rotary club and helped to drive the tractor on Thursday, August 23. He estimated that they had raised around 100.

He said: It was a lovely day.

It was nice to have friendly waves from people as we drove to Aylsham.
