Police in Norwich are appealing for witnesses following two arson attacks in the city which are being linked by police.

The first incident happened on Constitution Hill between midnight and 12.35am on Sunday when suspect(s) set fire to a conifer hedgerow, which has caused damaged to overhead cables, guttering and window frames. The second incident happened in Shipfield Road between 1am and 1.40am on Sunday when suspect(s) set fire to a wheelie bin at the back of an address.

Investigating officer, PC Leon Arnold, said: These incidents are being linked and we are aware the fires have caused concern in the local community.

I would urge anyone with information about the arson attacks, or anyone who may have witnessed anything unusual in the areas at the times stated to come forward.

Witnesses should contact PC Arnold at Norwich North Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
