Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her 40s was pushed to the floor and punched in Norwich.

The assault occurred at around 12.15pm on Tuesday, December 30 at a bus shelter on the junction of Witard Road and Munnings Road. The victim was pushed in the back causing her to fall to the floor.

Two females then punched her, causing minor injuries. Officers want to speak to a man who is believed to have broken up the incident. He is described as being in his 20s with a beard and wearing a woollen hat.
