Police are reviewing CCTV footage as they continue to investigate a bomb threat at Great Yarmouth s Tesco store.

The supermarket was evacuated just after 4pm on Friday after staff received a telephoned threat and a 100m cordon was set up around the Extra store, off Jones (GC) Way. Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal officers were called to the scene, arriving at around 8pm, and safely disposed of the item. Further enquiries established the incident was a result of a hoax call.

Detectives believe the threat was an isolated incident and their investigations continue with CCTV footage being reviewed.
