Norwich man arrested for 2014 burglary

NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH) A Norwich man is under arrest Sunday after he allegedly broke into a woman s home and stole items valued at over $3,000.

38-year-old Kenneth Stevens faces charges of burglary, larceny, and criminal mischief. Police say Stevens forcefully entered the victim s home and stole property back on November 8, 2014.

Police arrested Stevens on Saturday. His bond has been set at $20,000.

He is scheduled to appear in Norwich Superior Court on December 3.

The Norwich Police Department would like to remind all citizens to lock all doors, windows, vehicles, and garages. Police also remind the public that if they see something suspicious in their neighborhoods to contact the Norwich Police Department at 860-886-5561.
