British Monarch Queen Elizabeth II Reportedly Rides Commuter ...

Guess who took the train back home after the Christmas celebration? The Queen herself. Queen Elizabeth II returned to London by a commuter train after her break at the royal family s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

Queen Elizabeth II visits The Norfolk Hospice at Hillington on February 4, 2016 near King s Lynn, England.

The Queen met patients, trustees, volunteers and medical professionals working at the hospice, which has been serving its local community close to her Sandringham Estate for over 30 years.

The 89-year-old arrived at the King s Lynn station just a few minutes before the train was about to depart.

She was accompanied by the station manager Graeme Pratt who helped her board the train s first-class carriage.

The Queen was also seen getting off a train in December 2014 while returning from her Norfolk estate.
