Norfolk Constabulary: Man who suffered head injury dies

24 February 2016 I 08:09 A man involved in a collision in Tivetshall St Margaret on Saturday 20 February 2016 has sadly died. The collision happened at about 6.55am on the B1134 Station Road when a silver Ford Fiesta travelling from The Pulhams towards Attleborough left the roadside, coming to rest in a ditch. The driver, aged in his mid-20s, suffered serious head injuries and was airlifted to Addenbrooke s Hospital in Cambridge; however, he sadly died Tuesday 23 February.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has information concerning the driving manner of the vehicle prior to the incident. Witnesses should contact Norfolk Constabulary s Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 . It happened on Saturday at about 6.55am on the B1134 Station Road when a silver Ford Fiesta travelling from The Pulhams towards Attleborough left the roadside, coming to rest in a ditch. The driver, aged in his mid-20s, suffered serious head injuries and was airlifted to Addenbrooke s Hospital in Cambridge where he remains in a critical condition. The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and enquiries were carried out.

It was re-opened at about 10am.
