Recent vandalism in North Walsham

Police are appealing for information after two UKIP election campaign signs were damaged near North Walsham. Two signs on Trunch Road in Swafield had offensive language and symbols painted on them between 12pm and 12.15pm on Saturday 18 April. Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or noticed any suspicious activity in the area around the times stated.

They are also keen to trace two males who were seen in the area at around the time of the incident who may have information. One of the males is described as white, around 5 ft 8 tall, of very slim build, with black hair and was wearing black with a red stripe around the waist. There is no description of the second male.

Police are also appealing for information after a car was damaged in a supermarket car park in North Walsham. A grey Nissan Almera was parked in the Sainsburys car park on Bacton Road between 10.30am and 11.20am on Monday 20 April. When the owner returned to the car they found a large scratch on the passenger door.
