Prince Harry and the Royal Family Gush About the New Princess …

There s no word on what the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have named the princess yet, but her uncle Prince Harry 1 and the rest of the royal family are absolutely delighted about the birth of the royal baby! In a statement from Kensington Palace, Prince Harry remarked, She is absolutely beautiful. I can t wait to meet her.

As previously speculated 2 , Prince Harry was not present in London for the royal birth. He is currently in Australia for a month-long secondment. Yesterday, the day of the Princess birth, he was at a football match at Perth s Domain Stadium.

According to an Us Weekly 3 source, however, he immediately was in touch with the family when news broke that this niece was born. Harry was worried he would be asleep when the news broke, so he was really happy that he was up to take the call from William. Furthermore, the Palace revealed that the new Princess has already had several visitors the members of the family!

However, it s unclear whether or not Queen Elizabeth II 4 has met her great-granddaughter yet. As for the second-time parents ( Prince George 5 was born on July 22, 2013), Kensington Palace also issued a statement on their behalf: The Princess was born yesterday morning in London 6 , and introduced to the world later in the day by her parents Prince William 7 and a flawless-looking Kate Middleton 8 , emerging just hours after having given birth. The Duke even brought an adorable Prince George to meet his new baby sister, and our hearts melted from his little royal wave 9 .

Thousands of well-wishers stood outside the hospital in support of the royal family and new baby (not to mention the millions all around the world awaiting any news of the Princess!). President Obama 10 and first lady Michelle 11 even offered words of well-wishes, saying in a joint statement: Michelle and I are delighted to congratulate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family, and all the people of the United Kingdom on the birth of the Royal Princess. On behalf of the American people, we wish the Duke and Duchess and their son George much joy and happiness on the occasion of the arrival of the newest member of their family.

Congratulations to the royal family and beautiful parents!

We can t wait for the Princess name to be revealed!
